Mr. Edward Yang, General Manager of Victwo, was an invited guest at the Brazil-China Innovation Day event, which took place on September 15th at the Embassy of Brazil in China.
The event was presided over by Mr. Leticia Frazao Leme, Minister-Counselor at the Embassy of Brazil in China. Among the distinguished attendees were His Excellency Mr. Marcos Galvao, Ambassador of Brazil to China; Mr. Lv Xianzhi, Secretary and Director of the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center under China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; Ms. Adriana Ferreira de Faria, President of the Brazilian Association of Science Parks, Business Incubators and Accelerators (ANPROTEC); Ms. Sheila Oliveira Pires, Director-General of the Department of Support for Innovation Ecosystems (DEPAI) from Brazil's Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI); leadership from Zhongguancun Fengtai Science Park and Wuxi National High-tech District; as well as enterprise representatives and members of the Brazilian Innovation Ecosystem delegation visiting China. Approximately fifty individuals participated in the gathering.
Discussions throughout the event centered on three key areas: the Chinese and Brazilian innovation ecosystems, cooperation in agriculture and startup incubation between the two nations, and empowering the future through technology transfer and industrial collaboration. China has demonstrated significant, world-recognized advancements in innovation over the last two decades. Concurrently, Brazil, as South America's leading innovation nation, is experiencing a dynamic growth phase ripe with collaboration potential. This event aimed to foster deeper cooperation in innovation between these two key BRICS member states.
