Situated in North Africa along the Mediterranean coast, Morocco leverages its strategic geographical position, resource advantages, and free trade agreements with Europe and the United States to serve as an optimal re-export hub for companies targeting EU and U.S. markets, thereby drawing interest and attracting investments from a host of renowned Chinese enterprises including Gotion High-Tech, BTR, Sentury, China Haisum Engineering, Huayou Cobalt, Tinci, Shinzoom, and CATL. Furthermore, as Morocco co-hosts the 2030 FIFA World Cup with Spain, Portugal, Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay, the Moroccan government is undertaking extensive infrastructure development projects, creating substantial domestic market opportunities for investment cooperation.
In 2024, Victwo teamed up with the Embassy of Morocco in China to co-edit and publish the Invest in Morocco special issue. This publication comprehensively introduced Morocco's business environment, key industries, and investment promotion policies to Chinese companies and institutions, garnering significant attention and expressions of collaboration interest from Chinese companies.
Through the joint recommendation of Victwo and the Embassy of Morocco in China, Morocco's Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports and Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies recently extended formal cooperation invitations to NetDragon Websoft Holdings Limited and Hiteknova (Xiamen) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. The education ministry seeks a strategic partnership with NetDragon in digital education, proposing pilot implementation of NetDragon's digital education technologies in selected schools with potential for nationwide adoption upon successful outcomes. Meanwhile, the investment ministry identifies Hiteknova's digital steel-structure prefab technology as aligned with Morocco's development priorities. The ministry anticipates detailed discussions to provide tailored support services, including facilitating connections with local institutions and strategic partners to advance Hitecknova's business expansion into Morocco.
