The "Global Business Opportunities" series seminar titled "ASEAN Business Opportunities," jointly organized by Victwo and the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park, was held at the Beijing Century Huatian Hotel on the afternoon of September 18, the 2017. The event focused on investment opportunities within the ASEAN Free Trade Area—the largest among developing nations—with over a hundred enterprise representatives from across China in attendance.

Deputy Director Huang Ying of the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park delivered the opening remarks. She comprehensively outlined the park’s internationalization initiatives, emphasizing its capacity to cultivate and attract global talent, align international resources, provide cross-border services for park-based enterprises, and offer policy and financial support for overseas expansion efforts.
The Seminar featured keynote presentations by H.E. Elizaeth Te, Minister of the Philippine Embassy in China; Ms. Thanda Khine, Commercial Counsellor of the Myanmar Embassy in China; and Mr. Sin Chanseryroth, Representative of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce. Each speaker detailed their nation’s geographic advantages, sector-specific investment policies, political stability, and extended formal invitations for Chinese enterprises to pursue collaborative ventures, underscoring commitments to mutual benefit.

They also expressed strong interest in pursuing international projects to expand their operations internationally.

The “Global Business Opportunities” series, co-developed by Victwo and Haidian Science Park, serves as a strategic international platform supporting China’s Belt and Road Initiative and the Zhongguancun Core Area Three-Year Action Plan for Enterprise Globalization. This initiative fosters international exchanges and cooperation on industrial capacity through forums and salons. By connecting enterprises with the economic or commercial sections of embassies in China, overseas financial institutions, and legal entities, the program is committed to serving technology companies in their open innovation and global market expansion.
