The "Global Business Opportunities - Virtual Symposium on the Business Environment and Commercial Cooperation Opportunities in Cyprus" was wrapped up successfully in Xiamen on May 25, 2023. The event was co-sponsored by Xiamen Victwo BizTech Co., Ltd. (Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator) and Xiamen High-tech Innovation Center Co., Ltd., co-organized by Beijing Victwo Outbound Investment Consulting Co., Ltd., Fuzhou Hollytech Informatics Co., Ltd. and Foshan Foreign Languages Society, and moderated by Mr. Edward Yang.
Aimed at helping Chinese technology companies understand the business environment in Cyprus and use it as a gateway to enter the European Union market, this event was attended by Mr. Petrou Petros, Chief Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Cyprus in China, and Mr. George Polemmidiotis, Partner of LLPO Law Firm, a top-ranked law firm in Cyprus. Mr. George provided insights into the location advantages and tax incentives offered by Cyprus, as well as how companies can enter the Cyprus and EU markets and various opportunities in relevant industries.
At the symposium, General Manager Gao Wenjuan of DAWEB Technology Co., Ltd., Chairman Xia Yuanjun of Hebei Shouyou Medical Technology Co., Ltd., and Deputy General Manager Ye Yanfeng of Membrane Xintong Technology (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. discussed the possibility of investment cooperation with Cypriot representatives. After the meeting, we recommended these companies and our strategic partner Hiteknova (Xiamen) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., which is vigorously pushing into overseas markets, to the Embassy of Cyprus. We will keep in close contact with these companies and devise a plan for them to harness the location advantages and incentives offered by Cyprus to establish a regional headquarters around the Mediterranean Sea and expand operations into overseas markets in the EU, North Africa, and West Asia.
The "Global Business Opportunities" event is a joint initiative of Beijing Victwo Outbound Investment Consulting Co., Ltd.
