Vangenes Inaugurates Its Sao Paulo Lab

On April 16th, Xiamen Vangenes Biotechnology Co., Ltd. officially inaugurated its Sao Paulo Lab. Concurrently, China (Xiamen)-Brazil Biopharmaceutical Industry Cooperation & Exchange Seminar was held.  

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Cui Yonghui, Secretary of CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, who was leading a delegation on a study visit in Brazil. Accompanying him were esteemed Brazilian entrepreneurs, led by Mr. José Ricardo dos Santos Luz Júnior, Brazilian Partner of Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator and Co-Chairman of LIDA China. The event was skillfully hosted by Mr. Huang Feng, Executive Deputy Director of the General Office of Xiamen Leadership Group for BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center. Other notable attendees from Xiamen Municipal Government included Ms. Chen Min, Secretary of the CPC Leading Group of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Mr. Zhang Quan, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office.   

Vangenes has long harbored ambitions for international expansion. Following its participation in the "Webinar on Taxation and Legal Matters Pertaining to Brazil" in April 2022, which was sponsored by the General Office of Xiamen Leadership Group for BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center and organized by Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator in collaboration with LIDA China and Xiamen Information Group, the company gained a comprehensive understanding of Brazil's business environment, prompting its decision to venture into the Brazilian market. In May 2023, upon the recommendation of Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator, Vangenes attended the "Hai-Link Reception Workshop of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce on Investment and Trade in Brazil" held in Sao Paulo. It was during this event, under the witness of Mayor Huang Wenhui and other dignitaries, that Vangenes sealed a partnership with its Brazilian counterpart. The swift attainment of financial equilibrium within just three months of securing its inaugural local contract in Brazil has imbued Vangenes with resounding confidence in its Brazilian operations. Buoyed by this success, the company has opted to further augment its investment in Brazil, culminating in the establishment of its Sao Paulo Lab. This strategic move signifies the commencement of Vangenes' localized operations in Brazil.  

The establishment of Vangenes' subsidiary and laboratory in Brazil marks a significant milestone as the first privately-owned technology company from Xiamen to "go global," under the joint facilitation of BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center and Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator. As the Brazilian Partner of Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator, Mr. José Ricardo, Co-Chairman and CEO of LIDA China, has rendered invaluable support and assistance in facilitating Vangenes' expansion into the Brazilian market.
